in loving memory

1989
2013

Matthew Anderson passed away on April 1, 2013. He was 23 years old, and a student at Oregon State University. Matthew touched the lives of so many people, and served to be such a large influence on those around him. Matthew's family created The Matthew Anderson David Douglas Foundation (MADDwrestling) to honor his life, legacy and influence. Through this foundation, he can continue to let his positive light shine.

Matthew wrestled at David Douglas High School and Clackamas Community College. Through wrestling he gained confidence, he learned the importance of dedication and commitment, and he discovered how to be a leader. These values are the heart of our foundation, and it is our mission to instill confidence, dedication, commitment and leadership into today's youth.
